The Meaning of BlackMo

Short for Blackstrap Molasses, BlackMo coffee and tea contains a series of minerals and vitamins that are good for you. Our motto, “World’s 1st Molasses Syrup Beverages” are words that reflect what BlackMo truly is, and that is an instant coffee that lets you be your own coffee aficionado.

The Story

Guan Tong Industries Sdn Bhd's 1993 marketing arm, In-Joy Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd, was founded in 1948 by two young businessmen from the Hainan island of China.

A historic coffee-making enterprise started with inherited talents. Coffee and tea leaves have been the company's main products for three decades.

The business also started making various foods and drinks, including fruit-flavoured cordials and juices, in the early 1980s.

70+ Years Of Production & Craftsmanship

With over 7 decades of experience in the FMCG industry, Guan Tong Industries have successfully paved the path to being pioneers in the production and craftsmanship of beverage drinks. Although the company first began with the process of coffee making, the company has since diversified to include tea, fruit juices, and concentrates.
